Precision Response Adds 400 Employees to PA Call Center

Teleservices provider Precision Response Corp. added 400 employees to its West Mifflin, PA, contact center to support a customer-care program, the company said yesterday.


The 64,000-square-foot center, opened in 2000, now has nearly 1,000 employees and 521 multimedia workstations. In the past four weeks, PRC has hired and trained employees to provide customer installation and sales support, including credit adjustments, order changes, retention, upselling and account maintenance.


PRC, Fort Lauderdale, FL, is an operating business of IAC/InterActiveCorp. It employs 10,000 consumer-care representatives worldwide and includes subsidiaries Access Direct and Hancock Information Group.
