Pet Catalog Plans DRTV Spots

Pet products cataloger Doctors Foster & Smith is preparing a short-form DRTV campaign, Script to Screen, the agency that produced the effort, said yesterday.

The campaign, titled "Any Pet, Any Need," includes a 30-second spot and a 60-second spot. Testing is complete, and the spots are launching nationally, said Script to Screen, Santa Ana, CA.

The spots offer consumers a toll-free number to call to receive a free catalog and also invites them to visit the Doctors Foster & Smith Web site at Doctors Foster & Smith launched its first catalog in 1983, founded by veterinarians Race Foster and Marty Smith.
