Javelin Marketing Group has announced the appointment of Matthew Damron as CMO and SVP of business development. Damron brings a long background in healthcare marketing to the agency and most recently served as CMO of Sonosite, a division of Fuji Film.

"As a former global CMO on the client side, Matt adds tremendous value as we continue to expand our offering on behalf of our clients around the world. He has been consulting on new business with Javelin and his influence has already been a big asset," said CEO Pam Larrick in a statement announcing the appointment. 

Damron has extensive agency experience, having served as managing director of TBWA\Chiat\Day's WorldHealth division and group marketing director at both McCann Relationship Marketing and Source Marketing.
