Madison Direct, Pitney Bowes Offer BTB Co-Op

Madison Direct Marketing, Greenwich, CT, yesterday announced a partnership with Pitney Bowes to launch a multi-insert cooperative mailing program for small businesses.


The business-to-business mailing will feature the Pitney Bowes logo on the outer envelope and be targeted to businesses with fewer than 22 employees. Mailings will go three times yearly to 720,000 Pitney Bowes small-business customers.


Testing will begin in September when an initial mailing of 100,000 will reach active Pitney Bowes meter, supply line and business services customers in fields such as medical, legal, real estate, accounting, architecture, engineering and contracting. In 2004, the program will roll out to 720,000 pieces with mail dates in March, September and November.


Program participants can select what packages their inserts go into by criteria such as recipient businesses' number of employees, years in business, industry category, revenue and location.
