Launchpad today named its first-ever CMO—25-year ad agency veteran Tom Lamb. He will focus on business development and manage all internal operations for the independent agency, including an education program aimed at strengthening the skills of the 65-person staff across all disciplines. Lamb becomes part of Launchpad's executive management team alongside Executive Creative Director Noah Ross and agency cofounders Scott Elser and David Low.

Lamb joins Launchpad after eight years at Merkley+Partners, where he was executive group account director on the AXA Equitable, Lending Tree, Nutella, PSEG, and Tic Tac accounts. Previously, he spent nine years at McCann Erickson, leaving as SVP/group account director.

“Tom embodies our fundamental values of strategic leadership and creative passion while also being someone that makes everyone at the agency better thanks to his expertise and collaborative personality,” said Elser in a statement.
