'Ginger' Maker Picks Ineto Call Center System
Segway makes the two-wheeled, self-balancing, battery-powered personal transportation device. The company picked Austin-based Ineto to provide inbound call routing for its toll-free hotline and to route voice messages from people seeking more information about the transporter.
The Ineto application will let Segway handle large spikes of inbound calls, capture voice messages and route them when no live agents are available to answer calls.
The application helps Segway handle call-volume overflows. Segway does not know how much response the new product will generate.
