The Direct Marketing Club of New York (DMCNY) has named its 2009 Silver Apple Awards winners. The Silver Apple Awards honor leaders in the direct and interactive marketing industry who have at least 25 years' experience, have shown a commitment to volunteerism and who have made significant contributions to the growth of the industry.

Honorees for 2009 include Andy Goldberg, CEO of Publishers Clearing House; Ed Mallin, president of InfoUSA Services Group; Beatriz Mallory, CEO of HispanAmerica; Ruth Stevens, principal, eMarketing Strategy; Tom Turner, founder of Turner Direct; and Brian Wolfe, EVP of Time Inc. Acxiom Corp. is this year's corporate honoree.

“These honorees represent some of the outstanding achievers in our field,” said DMCNY president, Reggie Brady, in a statement. “Our entire organization is proud to be associated with them, and we are delighted to recognize their years of service to direct and interactive marketing.”

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Silver Apple Awards this year, DMCNY will host a gala evening event. The event, scheduled for November 12, 2009, will honor the 2009 Silver Apple winners as well as past winners.
