DMA Adds Travel Marketing Conference to Fall Show

The Direct Marketing Association said yesterday that it has teamed with the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International to have a Direct Marketing Conference for Travel Marketers during its 87th Annual Conference & Exhibition in New Orleans.


The program will run Oct. 16-17 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. It will feature a keynote address by Jim Compton, senior vice president of marketing for Continental Airlines, who will discuss multichannel integration, database marketing and customer service.


Other speakers will include senior executives from firms such as Travelocity, Harrahs, Hilton Grand Vacations and Expedia.
