DM News invites edit submissions for Essential Guide to Lists, Database Marketing and Data Services

Editorial submissions are invited for the next edition of DM News' Essential Guide to Lists, Database Marketing and Data Services, a must-read compilation of articles from experts in those fields.

The magazine supplement will comprise case studies, research and how-to tips on lists, database marketing/CRM and data services for customer acquisition, retention and reactivation. It will complement DM News' continued print and online coverage of response-oriented multichannel marketing.

Industry experts and practitioners, both client and supplier side, may write 400-word, tightly edited pieces on topics like choosing a list broker or manager, the merits of buying lists or renting, modeling, co-op databases, data privacy, list fatigue, ethnic lists, list negotiations, regulation, merge/purge, data quality, audience segmentation, customer loyalty, lead generation, data hygiene and strategies for segmentation, acquisition, retention or reactivation. Case studies will illustrate these tactics and strategies, supported by related research.

Each article will include the author's name, title, company, city, state and e-mail address along with a high-resolution color jpeg headshot and images to illustrate the piece. Deadline for complete submissions is Nov. 30.

The guide, valued for its insights, advice and shelf life, will be polybagged with the Jan. 15, 2007, DM News. It will be sent to all 50,300 subscribers of DM News and distributed at major trade shows where the publication exhibits. The PDF will be available at after Jan. 15.
