Direct Media Inc. said yesterday that it has launched B2B eAppendbase, an e-mail appending product for business-to-business marketers.

To participate, a marketer must provide their postal file to Direct Media, Greenwich, CT, which is then run against the company's database of more than 14 million records. Once run against the database, e-mail addresses are appended only if there is a company and individual match. Then Direct Media sends permission mailings and provides the participant with a 100 percent opted-in and CAN-SPAM-compliant e-mail file.

The service costs 50 cents per match with a minimum of 1,500 matches. Companies that contribute records to the database are entitled to e-mail append discounts.

B2B eAppendbase is available to Direct Media clients and non-clients alike.
