The Rotarian, the 100-year-old publication of the nonprofit Rotary International and The Rotary Foundation, swept the Media Industry Newsletter's (min) third Editorial and Design Awards with eight editorial awards, as well as an honorable mention.

Direct Marketing News also came from the Nov. 7 event a multiple min award winner, taking the min 2011 award for "Best Logo Design," the award in the b-to-b category for "Best Magazine Redesign”; and the b-to-b category award for “Most Improved Publication.”

“It is an honor to be recognized by min with three editorial and design awards,” said editor-in-chief Carol Krol. “We feel the rebranded Direct Marketing News best serves the direct and digital marketing community through all of our channels online and in print, and through our interactive iPad app. The most important factor in our efforts all along, including our redesign, has been a collaborative approach and the talent of our people. These awards belong to the entire talented Direct Marketing News team."

Min's awards are held annually to honor the best editorial and design work in 30 different categories within the publishing industry.
