Digital marketing agency Carat Fusion has created a virtual fundraiser to support children's charity Save the Children for the holiday season.

Members of the general public, as well as interactive marketing and advertising communities, can visit the Web site at to create and bake a virtual gingerbread cookie.

Visitors add their creations to an online gallery of cookies viewable by the public. They also can share their holiday cookie with friends, family and colleagues.

Each virtual cookie made through Dec. 22 will raise $1 for the charity. There is a limit of $5,000 in donations. The San Francisco office of Carat Fusion will make the donation to Save the Children in January.

Carat Fusion is conducting the interactive campaign pro bono.

Save the Children is an independent organization with headquarters in Washington and Westport, CT. It's mission is to create change for children in need in the United States and around the world.
