ARM Council Will Reveal New Name at Insert Day

The Alternate Response Media Council of the Direct Marketing Association will reveal its new name Sept. 10 at the Insert Day Conference & Exhibition at the Hilton Rye Town, Rye Brook, NY.


"We're still finalizing the name change," said Arlene Rosen, president of Alternate Response Associates Inc., New York, and co-chair of the council. "We've been so busy putting the conference together that we haven't had time yet."


The conference will open with a general session panel discussion, "The Brave New World of Insert Media: A Futuristic Look at Where the Industry Is Headed." Panelists scheduled are Ben Giordano, CEO, Media Solutions South; Leon Henry, CEO, Leon Henry Inc.; Robin Neal, vice president of sales, PlusMedia LLC; and Sandra Roscoe, senior vice president, Singer Direct. The panel will be moderated by Jeff Holland, president of Vertical Media Group Inc.


The luncheon keynote speaker will be Stephen LePera, media director at Mantis. Sessions on various topics will be led by insert media professionals from companies such as 1-800-Flowers, Bookspan, Rodale, GEICO, Gerber, Norm Thompson and Oreck.
