Accenture recently announced that it is teaming up with Salesforce to extend the complete Accenture CAS software suite to the Salesforce1 Platform. The two companies will offer consumer goods companies a single system of engagement for sales and trade marketing.

The first phase of the rollout—set for sometime in 2016—will see Accenture CAS Trade Promotion Management and Retail Execution products made available on the Salesforce1 platform.

“In an increasingly competitive environment, consumer goods companies need differentiating capabilities to win in-store and drive insight to action,” said Teo Correia, global managing director of Accenture's Consumer Goods and services industry group. “By building Accenture's CAS software products on Salesforce's leading cloud platform, we can help our clients enable direct digital connections with their customers and consumers through enhanced and integrated front-office capabilities.”
