Internext Media Corp-owned pay-per-click search network ABCSearch has acquired Advertise.com. Now, all of ABCSearch's services will be transitioned under the Advertise.com Inc. brand. Over the next six months, the company will be rolling out new technologies to provide multiple integrated programs, including PPC, local and contextual targeting, as well as display ads.

The announcement was made at Ad:Tech San Francisco.

The acquisition of the domain name is an effort to make the company's branding more inclusive since its services no longer focus solely on search marketing, said Dan Yomtobian, the CEO of Sherman Oaks, CA-based ABCSearch who now also is CEO of Advertise.com.

“ABCSearch is a trusted brand in the search industry, but many advertisers haven't heard of us,” he said. “This gives us more credibility and includes all of the digital media technologies we now offer.”

While Yomtobian couldn't give specifics of Advertise.com's new products, he said the three tools Advertise.com will roll out in the next six months are: a tier-one search marketing bid management tool, a technology to better serve local advertisers, and a display network that will allow advertisers to better reach consumers with contextually and behaviorally targeted banner ads.
