During her 15-year career with Rauxa, Alshuler has served critical roles in client relationships and helped lead the transformation of the agency from a direct-response shop to a full-service marketing firm offering digital, media, research, and technology solutions to marquee clients such as Alaska Airlines, Gap, and Verizon. Under her leadership, Rauxa has grown to be recognized as the largest woman-owned independent advertising agency in the U.S.

What has been your proudest career accomplishment to date?

In 2007, Amy Davidson and I opened Rauxa's East Coast office. Now, I'm proud to say our Manhattan office is bustling with more than 115 talented employees.

What's the best piece of advice you can give to future 40 Under 40 honorees?

Work hard. Look at every assignment, project, and conversation as a learning experience and be grateful for those opportunities to improve every day.

What do you hope to accomplish in the next five years?

In the next five years, Rauxa will go global. We will engage consumers with brands in groundbreaking ways, impacting the bottom line for businesses.

What is one interesting fact about you that few people know?

As part of the MTV Generation, I felt it was my duty to dance on The Grind.
