Alessandra Souers leads marketing efforts for JibJab Bros. Studios, the internet's expert at putting faces in funny stuff. She spends her days focused on fun, innovative campaigns for the company's web and mobile products. Previously, Souers managed the email marketing program for nine fashion accessory e-commerce brands in Indianapolis. She is a recipient of the 2015 EEC Stefan Pollard Email Marketer of the Year Award and a board member for the Email Experience Council.

What has been your proudest career accomplishment to date?

Leading the effort to build industry-first personalization engines for JibJab's email marketing that customize in-email images and GIFs with faces from users' accounts.

What's the best piece of advice you can give to future 40 Under 40 honorees?

No one cares more about your success than you. Raise your hand when you recognize an opportunity to learn.

What do you hope to accomplish in the next five years?

Launch a product serving an unmet need for brand marketers in the email marketing space, and build marketing and product optimization programs to help startups and other small businesses succeed.

What is one interesting fact about you that few people know?

In 1999, I started an online magazine called Perfect Wish with 300 subscribers.
