MarketHome Offers Shopping Service

Online direct marketing services company MarketHome, Walnut Creek, CA, announced that its e-mail shopping service (www.markethome.com) will be free for stores promoting consumer products or services on the Web as well as a partnership program to license its e-mail newsletter technology to Web malls, catalogs and directories. MarketHome helps stores open and manage e-mail marketing accounts on the Web. Shoppers on the MarketHome site can make requests in specific areas and the service will match those requests with store promotions and deliver the results by way of e-mail.

MarketHome shares in the revenue generated by the advertising. If a store does not want to create revenue then MarketHome charges them a flat fee of 4 cents per e-mail. Partners are allowed to tailor their newsletters for any shopping category and automate the sign-up and management of advertising accounts for a number of brands or vendors. MarketHome gives its partners full control over their own accounts and e-mail lists without forcing them to card third-party ads.
