MarketFirst Doubles CommVault's Promotions Responses

Internet promotions company MarketFirst said Monday it would run a marketing campaign that would promote software firm CommVault Systems' Galaxy data protection services to e-businesses that use Microsoft NT and Windows 2000.

MarketFirt, Mountain View, CA, will use targeted e-mail and streamlined video in the campaign. In using MarketFirst programs, CommVault said it has more than doubled the response rate of its previous direct mail promotions and was now able to instantaneously qualify leads and distribute them to its sales team.

MarketFirst's campaign brings sales leads to a company through e-mail. MarketFirst's software sends these e-mails reminding the sales department to contact prospects and customers. CommVault, Oceanport, NJ, will pay an undisclosed fee for the services.
