Management Buys Redstone from Omaha World-Herald

Management at Omaha ad agency Redstone Communications bought the firm from Omaha World-Herald Co.


The newspaper publisher's World Marketing subsidiary acquired Redstone in 1996. Agency executives Steve Armbruster, Gail Johnston, Claudia Martin, Jim Svoboda, Phillip Webb and Stacy Vance comprised the buyout team.


Redstone specializes in retail advertising and media placement along with consumer and business-to-business direct marketing. It has an alliance with Hanser & Associates, a public relations firm in Des Moines, IA. Agency clients include Nebraska Furniture Mart and Tim O'Neill Chevrolet.
