Mailnet Adds Creative Services

Mailnet Services Inc. expanded the services in its MailnetExpress solution to enable direct marketers to create more customized campaigns, the company said yesterday.

MailnetExpress lets direct marketers create a complete direct mail campaign from artwork to list cleaning to putting it in the mail from their computer desktop.

In the past, Mailnet provided a public online template of existing creative to customers or worked with the creative offerings that the customer already had and adopted this into the direct mail campaign.

Both of these offerings are still available, but MailnetExpress also now designs materials for the client, scans images, formats copy, provides proofs and distributes the direct mail piece via fax, e-mail or direct mail.

"Clients who don't have graphic designers on staff can let our creative team work for them," said Tom Herrmann, executive vice president of marketing and business development at Mailnet Services, Nashville, TN. "Our creative services include everything from newsletter design to photo scanning and retouching. Our average turnaround of three days means our clients can initiate their direct marketing campaigns quickly and cost-effectively."
