Mail-Well Purchases Gould Packaging Inc.

Printing industry consolidator Mail-Well Inc., Englewood, CO, last month acquired Gould Packaging Inc., Vancouver, WA, a distributor of mailing and shipping supplies. Gould had 1997 sales of $14 million.


Gould will join Mail-Well's office products division and give the company a channel for selling mailing boxes, cushioned envelope and bubble packaging to mass-market retailers. Recent accretive acquisitions has Mail-Well projecting 1998 revenues of $1.5 billion.
