Mail-Well Makes Final Sale in Divestiture Effort

Mail-Well Inc. sold part of its digital graphics division to Group360 Inc., concluding a series of asset divestitures it began in 2001, the commercial printing firm said yesterday.

The sale included Mail-Well's Accu-Color facility in St. Louis, Accu-Color's satellite facility in Atlanta, the Colorhouse facility in Dallas and the NK Graphics facility in Keane, NH. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

Group360 formed recently from the combination of prepress providers NEC Inc., Nashville, TN, and Color Associates Inc., St. Louis.

In June 2001, Mail-Well announced its intention to focus on its core business lines of envelopes and commercial printing. The Englewood, CO, company decided to sell its smaller label and printed-office products segments.

Proceeds from the sale of Mail-Well assets went to reducing the company's debt.
