Mail-Well Changes Name to Cenveo

Commercial printer and envelope maker Mail-Well said yesterday that it would change its name to Cenveo effective May 17 to reflect its new corporate identity following its reorganization last year.

Mail-Well made the announcement at Print Oasis, a print buyer conference, in Hollywood, FL. Last year, Mail-Well streamlined its organization, grouping operations into two segments based on customer needs rather than on product lines to create a one-stop shopping experience for customers.

The new name represents the second phase of the reorganization, the company said in a statement. It is derived from the combination of the syllables "cen," for center, and "veo," which relates to vision.
