Mail-Well CEO Retires

Mail-Well, Englewood, CO, yesterday said that Gerald Mahoney is retiring as chairman and chief executive officer, effective January 31, after serving under those titles since 1994.

The printing company promoted its president, Paul Reilly, to add Mahoney's CEO title to his duties. Meanwhile, Mail-Well elected Tom Stephens to be chairman.

"This will be a very smooth transition," said Mahoney, in a prepared statement. "I intend to continue as a significant and interested shareholder. I appreciate the support employees and investors have provided to me and know Paul will receive the same."

Mail-Well has approximately 16,000 employees and more than 140 printing facilities throughout North America and the United Kingdom.
