Mail-Well Beefs Up Operations With HP Printer

Commercial Printing firm Mail-Well Inc. has purchased three new HP Indigo 3000 presses to help meet increased demand, Hewlett-Packard said yesterday.

The presses will go to Mail-Well Graphics, Philadelphia, Champagne Fine Printing, Houston, and IPC Mail-Well, Toledo, OH. The financial value of the purchase was not disclosed.

The HP Indigo 3000 is equipped with variable data printing technology for the production of one-to-one marketing materials, according to HP. It is capable of printing in five, six and seven-color with 97 percent Pantone coverage, and it uses an advanced ink-mixing system to match colors in a corporate brand, HP said.
