Magazine Search Service Launches

Premium information network Congoo, Branchburg, NJ, formally launches today. Congoo lets users search premium or restricted content from trade magazines, newspapers and other publications.


Congoo users download a browser toolbar, the Congoo NetPass, and register once to access limited, premium content. The idea is to provide only a few articles to whet consumers' appetites and fuel more subscriptions for publishers, Congoo president/CEO Ash Hashed said.


Among those providing limited access are TheStreet.com, Editor & Publisher, The Boston Globe and the Chicago Tribune.
