Madison Considers Co-op for Women Without Children
TORONTO -- Madison Direct Marketing Ltd., the Greenwich, CT, cooperative mailer, is considering launching a "Madison Woman" envelope next year targeting women without children, according to Matthew Damron, director of database development and corporate development. He said details of the project were still in the planning stagesIn an interview at the DMA's annual convention here this week, he also said that Madison's Hispanic co-op mailer would increase its reach next year, hitting 1.75 million homes when it next mails in April. The envelope, which targets families that speak Spanish in the home, mailed to 1 million homes in September, after ramping up from 275,000 homes when it was first launched. Colgate is one of the leading advertisers in the packet, with seven brands represented, he said.
