LucasFilms names Big Spaceship digital AOR

Entertainment production company Lucasfilm has named digital creative agency Big Spaceship its digital agency of record.

The agency will work on a “multi-component digital ecosystem initiative” for Lucasfilm across the Web, social media and mobile, according to a statement from the companies

Founded by George Lucas in 1971, Lucasfilm is an entertainment production company behind the Star Wars and Indiana Jones franchises.

Lucasfilm declined to provide further details about the agency hiring process. Big Spaceship also declined comment.

Lucasfilms worked with mobile services firm THQ Wireless and interactive shop Proteus on mobile marketing for Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull in 2008.
