Loudthöt Adds Personalized Mailings to Client Services

Marketing solutions company Loudthöt, Dallas, will offer clients the ability to send personalized, four-color postcards to prospects who visit their Web site or respond to an advertisement, the company said last week.

Loudthöt will use technology from PostNexus Inc., Dallas, to deliver the postcards. The technology, called Plug & Post, integrates with PostNexus' pMail service, which lets businesses send personalized digital documents as postal mail using existing customer relationship management and sales force automation applications.

Businesses send their messages electronically to a pMail server, where PostNexus confirms the order and validates the delivery address, prints, sorts, folds and mails the letter from its facilities in Dallas. If the order hits the PostNexus server by noon, it generally gets mailed the same day.

"This solution offers an alternative to the high cost of traditional printing while providing the heightened impact and effectiveness of individually targeted communications," said Loudthöt CEO Michael Wilson. "It removes the barrier to direct mail advertising for many smaller businesses and sales organizations."
