Loudcloud, IBM Team on Web Services

Loudcloud has announced an agreement with IBM to deliver outsourced Internet services based on IBM's e-infrastructure technologies.

As part of the agreement, Loudcloud is licensing IBM's DB2 Universal Database, WebSphere e-infrastructure software and WebSphereMQ messaging software. These technologies will be available to enterprise corporations as part of Loudcloud's outsourced Internet operation services.

The company said the integration of IBM's software suite into its own service offerings will provide enterprise customers with a wider choice of technologies when outsourcing the day-to-day management of their Internet operations.

Loudcloud, Sunnyvale, CA, is a managed services provider of solutions for global Internet operations at enterprise companies.
