Long Range Taps Dynamics Direct E-Mail Tech

Long Range Systems Inc., creator of the wireless coaster pager, is using Dynamics Direct Inc. technology to let restaurants leverage e-mail marketing.

The Dallas-based firm tapped the Dynamic Messenger Email Relationship Management platform to add e-mail marketing capabilities to its restaurant offerings, which include its new Allegiant customer loyalty products.

"The important story here is about the distributed use of e-mail, the localization of e-mail programs through centralized systems," said Jason McNamara, CEO of Dynamics Direct, Los Angeles.

"Long Range needed a single e-mail platform that could be used by the individual restaurants, plus regional chain managers and corporate marketing," he said. "Finding a platform capable of managing the permissions and various users and user groups to support this distributed model use scenario was the challenge."

With the Dynamics Direct technology, restaurants using Long Range's wireless solutions can e-mail special offers, discounts, advanced seating and other benefits to their customers.
