Logistics Experts Consolidate Under 1 Name
The logistics solutions formerly provided by ALG Admiral, ALG Admiral Global, ALG Direct and ALG Transport became available under the single umbrella of ALG Worldwide Logistics LLC as of Jan. 1.ALG Worldwide Logistics, Bensenville, IL, was founded in 1982 under the name Admiral Air Express Inc. ALG Worldwide today offers transportation management services including expedited services, ground services, international services and print media logistics services for business mail, direct marketing and catalog merchandising.
The name change serves its clients, the company said, making it easier and more efficient for customers to work with a single, coordinated entity.
"Previously, each company served a distinct segment within the logistics market," said James Hezinger, CEO/founder of ALG Worldwide Logistics. "We felt it was time to eliminate the 'blur' that resulted from multiple company names."
