Local.com and WhitePages.com Add PeopleSearch Functionality

Interchange Corp.-owned search engine Local.com has partnered with online directory WhitePages.com to launch a new search functionality called PeopleSearch.

PeopleSearch, on www.local.com, will let users look up 92 million residential listings and more than 10 million local businesses. Interchange technology will allow for more specifications in the search queries.

Local.com users will be able to reverse phone numbers, look up addresses, area and ZIP code information.

Interchange, Irvine, CA, launched local.com last August and already has more than 9 million visitors a month, the company claims.
