L.L. Bean Celebrates With Canoe Giveaway

L.L. Bean is celebrating the 90th anniversary of its retail business by giving away 90 special-edition Old Town canoes.


Though no purchase is necessary to enter, customers who place an order from Sept. 3 to Dec. 24 are entered automatically, and each time customers shop with L.L. Bean during the holiday season their chances to win increase.


Winners receive a red L.L. Bean Special-Edition Old Town Canoe, including two hardwood paddles and two personal floatation devices. Winners who make their purchase using a Visa card also win a $250 shopping spree.


The company hired Promosis to structure and administer the sweepstakes.
