List Professional Perper Dies at 67

Mailing list industry veteran Jordan Perper died April 16 of complications from kidney failure. He was 67.

During his 45 years in the industry, Perper held executive positions at several list and direct marketing companies including Columbia House, The Coolidge Company, Hot Line Marketing and Stevens-Knox & Associates.

"Jordan was one of the best and most highly regarded sales people I've ever met in the list industry and a loyal and loving friend to all who knew him," said Ralph Stevens, senior vice president of MKTG Services and a friend and colleague for more than 35 years. "He will be missed greatly."

Though Perper had no immediate family, he had numerous friends in and out of the industry, said Stevens, who added that he and a few close friends were planning a service in his honor. For more information, contact Stevens at rstevens@mktgservices.com.
