List Firms Sign On With Alistia

Online service provider Alistia Inc. announced deals yesterday with several list management firms and data providers to feature some of their managed list properties in Alistia's online count and order service.

Contract agreements were signed with 21st Century Marketing, Farmingdale, NY; American List Counsel Inc., Princeton, NJ; Database Marketing Concepts, Bohemia, NY; Response Media Products Inc., Atlanta; List Technology Systems Group Inc., New York; Midwest Direct Marketing Inc., Spring Hill, KS; Dunhill International List Company Inc., Boca Raton, FL; The List Experts, Safety Harbor, FL; and L.I.S.T. INCORPORATED, Great Neck, NY.

Although Alistia cannot disclose specific list titles that will be available from these firms until the debut of the system, Rubio expects it to launch by the end of March.

She hopes to sign on additional management firms prior to the official launch.

Participating list professionals have high hopes for the Alistia model.

"It's electronic -- it's online -- and we're hoping that the list brokerage and list management community buys into Alistia," said Herb Torgersen, vice president management services at Response Media Products Inc., Atlanta. "It will be a way of streamlining the order process, making things a little bit easier and hopefully allowing our account executives to spend more time selling and less time processing."

The next step, according to Janet Rubio, CEO of Alistia, Austin, TX, is to get brokerage firms to subscribe to the Alistia system.
