LinkShare acquires TrafficStrategies.com

Pay-per-acquisition marketing firm LinkShare Corp. has acquired TrafficStrategies.com to expand its lead-generation capabilities.

LinkShare, New York, will incorporate TrafficStrategies.com's lead generation platform into the company's existing business and extend its lead generation service offerings.

LinkShare clients, including 1800Flowers, Wal-Mart, Lands' End and American Express, will now have access to the Traffic Strategies lead generation platform.

Traffic Strategies.com, Tampa, FL, will keep its senior management team, short of chairman William C. McClure, who plans to retire after a 30-year career.
