LifeMinder.com Membership Increases After Super Bowl

LifeMinders.com said yesterday its membership grew 700,000 in one week to reach 9 million. The company said it has more than doubled its member base since September.

"We have reaped tremendous member growth rewards from a successful viral marketing program that is exceeding all expectations," said Stephen Chapin Jr., president/CEO. "Our existing members continue to recommend our service to friends and family at previously unmatched rates, which clearly demonstrate we are offering real value to our member base."

Much of LifeMinders.com's recent growth can be attributed to its Super Bowl advertising campaign, Chapin said. According to Nielson Net Ratings, LifeMinders.com recorded the largest Web site traffic increase of all dot.com advertisers in the wake of the Super Bowl.

LifeMinders sends highly targeted, content-rich e-mails covering 16 different categories, such as family, entertainment and travel, to any member requesting the e-mails. The e-mails include information, how-to advice and discount offers.
