Lieberman to Speak at DMA's Fall Show

Sen. Joseph Lieberman, D-CT, will speak at the Direct Marketing Association's 85th Annual Fall Conference & Exhibition in San Francisco, the DMA announced yesterday.

Since June 2001, Lieberman has served as chairman of the Governmental Affairs Committee, which maintains oversight responsibilities over several government activities, including all postal matters and homeland security. Lieberman also was the Democratic candidate for vice president in the 2000 election. He is serving his third term in the Senate.

Other conference speakers include postmaster general John E. Potter and Stan Rapp, chairman of MRM Partners. The DMA has not yet announced who will deliver the opening keynote address.

Lieberman will speak during the Hall of Fame luncheon Oct. 22. The conference will be Oct. 20-23 at the Moscone Center.
