Liberty Life, AHA Ink Deal

Liberty Life Insurance Co., Greenville, SC, a subsidiary of The Liberty Corp., announced last week a five-year marketing agreement with the American Homeowners Association (AHA), Stamford, CT. Under the agreement, Liberty has exclusive rights to market AHA's membership services to customers of mortgage lenders and utilities. Liberty partners with more than 1,000 financial institutions in marketing mortgage protection insurance to their customers and has begun to help utilities market insurance and noninsurance. AHA services, which include 24-hour emergency access to contractors, will now be included Liberty's marketing program. Financial terms were not disclosed.
