Letter: Throwing in the Towel Never an Option

I agree with Ralph Stevens' comments in the March 24 DM News regarding the Direct Marketing Club of New York. As a former board member, I remember times when we lacked necessary funds.

Our approach was to elicit innovative ideas from our board members, debate their pros and cons, develop actionable plans, gain everyone's personal commitment and execute profitable programs. Throwing in the towel was never an option.

I will be happy to help in any way I can.
