Letter: Site Planning Needs to Be Built Around SEO

Thank you so much for this helpful and informative article by Kent Lewis ("Online Exclusive: How to Build a Search Engine-Friendly Web Site," Feb. 13). He truly captured the basics and essence of SEO. So many of the companies that build Web sites do not have seasoned professionals to assist in SEO.

He is so right about implementing that capability from the get-go. The site planning and site architecture should be built around SEO. It saves a lot of time in the long term.

We at Wisconsinmade.com are in the process of looking at a redesign (original site built in 1999), so this article is timely from our perspective.
