Letter: Return Another Letter to Bush

I laughed out loud when I read Tad Clarke's editorial about the RNC mailings. I, too, have been receiving these mailings, for reasons unknown.

Many months ago when I received my first "thank you for supporting George Bush" letter, I resealed the envelope and wrote on the outside: "Return to Sender: I can't stand George Bush."

I guess my note was too subtle, because since then I have received many more letters thanking me for my support (though I guess I should consider myself lucky for not having the government put me on a watch list for daring to say something negative about our president).

I have no idea how the RNC got my name. I was registered as a Republican for about 12 minutes in 1980 or so, just so I could vote for John Anderson in the New Jersey primary. I switched back to Democrat after that election.
