LeadStream has launched a new kind of service for small to midsize businesses and online directory publishers who use vertical-keyword analysis, testing and tracking methodologies as well as segment-specific search engine marketing tools and products to drive motivated buyers.

The service will debut at the Kelsey Group's conference in Santa Clara, CA, called "Drilling Down on Local."

"Helping small businesses overcome marketing challenges, such as limited staffs, budgets and in-house marketing expertise, LeadStream delivers value as a full-service SMB marketing partner with technology-driven solutions," said Chris Scotton, president/CEO of LeadStream, Santa Clara, CA.

"LeadStream's deep domain expertise in local search taxonomies, coupled with leading keyword research, testing and measurement methodologies, gives SMBs an edge in localized keyword selection and performance optimization," Mr. Scotton said.

It will offer multiple ways of receiving and tracking leads, including online landing pages with pay-per-call, e-mail, mapping, coupons, lead qualification and customer-retention services.

Recent market research shows that less than 6 percent of SMBs are using paid search as a means for lead generation.

LeadStream can be an effective channel distribution partner for vertical directories, search engines and Internet yellow pages.

Within LeadStream there is a seasoned management team that has experience in yellow pages and local search marketing and advertising sales.

According to LeadStream's latest research, SMBs are turning to targeted, vertical electronic media, presenting a considerable opportunity for online service providers.

LeadStream offers online-landing-page templates and multiple search-engine-sponsored ads, priority placement on major search engines, a unique trackable phone number, a personalized performance-tracking site called LeadTrak and several other lead-tracking methods tailored to SMBs' needs.

"With a vertically focused in-house ad sales and customer-support team, LeadStream is an effective distribution partner for vertical directories, search engines and Internet yellow pages seeking significant local advertiser penetration and revenue growth," Mr. Scotton said. " LeadStream works with the four major search engines - Google, Yahoo, MSN and Ask.com - as well as numerous Internet yellow pages."
