Laszlo Systems, a developer of an open source platform for building and deploying Ajax applications, will support the recognition and presentation of CertifiedEmail messages for its Laszlo Mail product.

Goodmail Systems created CertifiedEmail to help restore trust to e-mail from volume e-mail senders.

Used via license by businesses and communications service providers, Laszlo Mail offers the functionality of desktop e-mail without requiring client software installation. CertifiedEmail is intended to help give Laszlo Mail, San Mateo, CA, the added benefit of protecting users from phishing and other forms of e-mail-based fraud.

Accredited senders with preferred e-mail best practices can choose to send their marketing and transactional messages through CertifiedEmail, which imprints a cryptographically-secure token on outgoing e-mail messages and lets participating Internet and e-mail service providers assure their delivery to the server-level inbox with all the links and images intact.
