StayinFront Inc., Fairfield, NJ, said yesterday that Lamin-Art, Chicago, a decorative laminates vendor, has chosen its Visual Elk software as a customer relationship management solution.


The Visual Elk system will enable the company to automate all sales, marketing and customer support applications.


Visual Elk is a CRM platform designed to provide multinational companies with a cost-effective, enterprisewide solution to manage and integrate all points of customer interaction, including sales, marketing and customer support applications. The system has been installed in more than 220 companies with more than 30,000 users worldwide.


Matthew Krog, executive vice president at Lamin-Art, said the company expects the new system will enable it to streamline its sales process, reduce paperwork by as much as 20 percent, and significantly increase sales volume.


Lamin-Art supplies the commercial interior design industry with a family of products and exclusively designed patterns used in restaurants such as Capital Diners, Johnny Rockets, McCormick & Schmicks and Wolfgang Puck's restaurants; in hotels such as Marriott, Hyatt and Holiday Inn; and in store fixtures, trade show exhibits and other facilities worldwide.
