Lake Group Media Inc. is now managing the subscriber file of The Economist, one of the world's leading business weeklies.

The file is comprised of 410,088 subscribers at $145/M. It uses Acxiom's Infobase consumer demographic data like age, income, purchase and lifestyle behavior.

The Economist comes out Fridays, offering reporting, commentary and analysis on world politics, business, finance, science and technology, culture and society.

Based in London, The Economist was founded in 1843 in an effort to support the cause of free trade. It is still considered a radical publication, filled with opinion and facts promoting a free market economy.

The newspaper's subscribers are educated and affluent, are often in senior, purchase influencing positions in their careers, and actively seek to engage with the world around them in both their professional and personal lives.
