Labwerks, Ten United Merge

Interactive marketing shop Labwerks merged with ad agency Ten United in a deal of undisclosed value.


Called Labwerks Ten United, the merged entity operates as a wholly owned arm of Ten United. More than 25 employees will work from the agency's Pittsburgh office on accounts like Dell Inc., Jamaica Tourism and Anheuser-Busch.


Founded in 1998, Labwerks offers Web design, multimedia production, mobile, wireless, e-commerce and customer relationship marketing services. Clients include American Eagle Outfitters, Pittsburgh Brewing Co. and Nemacolin Woodlands Resort & Spa.


Besides Pittsburgh, Ten United has offices in Orlando, FL, and Columbus, OH. The independent agency last year posted billings of $227 million from clients like Huntington Bank, Dad's Pet Care and The Hoover Co.
