Knoxville Homeless Charity Picks BKV

Knox Area Rescue Ministries, a nonprofit in Knoxville, TN, tapped Bennett Kuhn Varner as its direct marketing agency of record.

Bennett Kuhn Varner, based in Atlanta, will partner with the Westfall Group, a gift consulting firm in Atlanta. Both are charged with helping the ministries expand its base of contributors in the Knoxville area.

The nonprofit meets the spiritual, emotional and physical needs of homeless and poor men, women and children in the greater Knoxville area.

Bennett Kuhn Varner will use direct mail, newspaper ads, special events and billboards. It will work with Westfall to expand awareness for Knox Area's programs dealing with homelessness.

A specialist in direct marketing, Bennett Kuhn Varner last year posted $40 million in billings. Clients include Dirt Devil, Habitat for Humanity, American Red Cross, Six Flags Theme Parks and EarthLink.
